Senior Photography

West Michigan

Hey there! My name is Regan!

I have been photographing seniors since I myself was a senior! I’ve always enjoyed being able to photograph Seniors students. Seniors are usually really fun and laid back and I enjoy being able to just have fun and capture them being themselves.

Me as a high school senior in 2020

Funny enough, my dad, who actually was the one who got me into photography (click to see our story) took my high school Senior Portraits.

I loved hiking, soccer, and hanging out with my childhood dog, Rogue (pictured, and who is still around at 11 years old in 2026).

So that’s what I asked my dad to focus my senior portraits on. And I ask those same types of questions when it comes to your senior portraits to. Because your senior portraits shouldn’t just be a reflection of the adult you are becoming, but a reflection of how you got to where you are!

We do our best to make sure that our Senior Experience is easy and fun so that you don’t have to worry about a thing!

Our Process
  • First, we start the conversation and decide whether we are a good fit for each other!

Together we will talk through your goals as they pertain to photos and I’ll recommend which of my photo packages would be the best fit for you!

After paying a 50% retainer and signing our contract we are officially off to the planning & getting hype stage!

  • Part of the Fortis process is making sure that we plan ahead what we need to capture! This allows us to make sure we get all the necessary shots and still leave some room for creativity as it strikes us!

Onboarding: Once we have you added to our system you will receive an email with our Client Welcome Packet, our locations guide (that we exclusively share with just our clients), our recommended shot list for Seniors, and a client questionnaire. Later on you’ll also get our Style guide (which is also exclusively for Fortis Clients).

Planning Session: After you have had a chance to look through all this information and fill out the questionnaire we either get together in person over coffee (which is my favorite) or we hop on a video chat.

Custom Session Guide: I’ll put together a summary of everything we talked about in our Planning Call session including our schedule, shot list, and any other important info.

  • After we have our plan in place it’s time for the most fun part! The actual shoot day! You just need to show up and I’ll direct you while I capture all the best angles and poses, using the Customized session guide as our anchor!

  • 3-5 business days after your session you’ll receive a beautiful online portrait gallery with all your images! From the gallery you will be able to heart your favorites, download the ones you want, and order prints of them, if you have that need. You’ll also receive a personal use license with your gallery!

  • Then the absolute best part = Sharing with your friends and family! Be sure to tag me in your posts when you share! I’d love to cheer you on!

  • "Regan was amazing for my son's (Owen) senior photos! I loved the pictures. I also had my 8 year old son in tote and she made him feel like he was part of the experience. She asked him for ideas and to tell his brother jokes to make him smile. All and all a great experience. I would recommend!"

    - Ashlea, Owen’s Mom

  • “I had my Senior Portraits taken at two different locations and I got the look I wanted from both locations! Regan kept finding ways to make me smile naturally and in the end the results were beautiful! 5/5 stars!!”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For Senior sessions, we say “starting at” because that is our session cost, but there are additional fees for studio rental (if that is a location you want to use) as well as additional fees for ordering prints and album books. Our Print Store is a third party company that sets their own prices for Prints.

  • That’s okay! I got you covered! I have an entire styling guide that walks you through practical do and don’t for your session. Plus you can feel free to reach out to me via a phone call or an email if you need more styling help!

  • I got you covered on that too! I have an entire locations guide (40+ locations) that I love and know are great spots for locations. If none of those spots match your vibe, then I take off and go Location Scouting!

  • Absolutely! I actually encourage you to bring at least one person with that can help me get you more hyped up and bring out the genuine smiles and laughs from you.

We do limit the number of people who can come out though. We ask that you don’t bring more than 2 people, otherwise the session can become a little chaotic and we don’t want that.

  • Short answer is unfortunately no. Your senior session is about you! Which means we want the full session to be focused on capturing you, your hobbies, interests and accomplishments.

With that being said, if you have a group of friends who want to do a Senior Session Experience together (were each Senior gets a few images by themselves & then we do some friend group photos) we can definitely arrange that. Please contact me directly for pricing.

We also understand that maybe you might want a parent or a sibling in a picture as well. And that is perfectly fine, but we will not be capturing full family photos during your senior session.
